AVG VPN Netflix Review

AVG vpn provides a solid selection of features at a low price. It doesn’t store any records of its activities, but uses the OpenVPN protocol to protect users. It is able to unblock Netflix US, BBC iPlayer and Hulu. It also has around eight P2P servers for torrenting. The program is simple to use and features a clutter-free interface. You can set it to automatically connect to your VPN when you connect to a wi-fi network, or manually select the networks you want to connect to. Navigate to the Network Security menu and click the Edit Networks button. You can choose which Wi-Fi networks the VPN should connect to and also deactivate or enable its automatic connection during initial startup.

AVG Secure VPN isn’t the best choice on the market due mainly to serious weaknesses. First, its server network is small. In our tests, we were allowed to stream Netflix on four of five of its special streaming servers. Additionally, some of its servers were blocked by Netflix for unknown reasons.

Another problem is that AVG Secure VPN doesn’t offer monthly pricing plans, just yearly subscriptions. This makes AVG Secure VPN more expensive than its competitors that offer lower monthly subscriptions. Moreover, its customer support channels are limited and not very helpful. Considering all of its drawbacks we recommend that you consider alternatives such as Surfshark, ExpressVPN, or NordVPN.
